So Mom's leg is infected.  Joy.  She called while I was working and I had accidently left my phone by the bed.  Erik's off today so I didn't want to wake him sneaking off to work.  Ugh, I can't wait for this recovery bs to be over.

Also, I really love Erik.  He's pretty damn cool.

Finally home from Texas, been back about a week.  Was a pretty trying time down there, Moms was in a lot of pain and I discovered that surgical pain isn't a thing I deal with well.  I guess it can be resurfacing trauma inside the back of my head about my own pain.  I really had a reaction that I didn't intend or foresee, but I go through it.  She ( Read more... )
